Joshua Trey Richardson, an American Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter, Composer, Producer & Engineer. Trey has been in the music industry since age of 16, and a musician since age of 5. Trey started music as a child when he learned to play drums. He quickly began to pickup the guitar after hearing his childhood influences, Eddie Van Halen, and Vivian Campbell.
Through out school try learned to play a wide variety of concert instruments as well as marching band instruments where he became a Drum Major in High School, and leader of the schools Technical Theater class. Trey later went on to become a certified automotive systems technician, where after 5 years he learned music had a better outcome for his future as a career instead of a hobby.
After many years of working as an audio engineer and theatrical technician, Trey had worked with many artists including quite a few well known stars. He soon launched Metal-Ward Entertainment, LLC before attending college at Full Sail University, earning his Bachelors Degree in Music Production and Entertainment Business. Trey quickly began producing and engineering studio sessions for bands and various artists. After writing multiple songs to put together on a self demo, Trey decided to launch DethCadence, finding the guys to "fit his groove", needless to say that was more than found. Trey has worked for many live entertainment companies consisting of Complete Inc., Edgemar Theater, Durham Arts, Holly Springs Cultural Theater and
Live Nation Inc. Trey followed in his uncle Bill Bazen's footsteps in becoming a determined and progressive musician.
"I just want to be that guy that saves the music industry. That producer that finds the artist to keep rock and metal music alive. I want to be the reason artists are paid properly and get the respect and attention they deserve. I want to show the world what I can do and bless others with my music. I guess the biggest thing I can say is, I want people to make love not war. I here to help. I couldn't do it without the help and support from my brothers in DethCadence and my family."
